Steve Tuttle's Astrophotography

I started Astrophotography in college with a home made 8" f/7 Newtonian on a Cave Astrola Mount (modified). As I was in the Physics Department and was teaching Astronomy Labs, I had access to the school's Celestron 5" Schmidt Camera. About 15 years ago, I had saved up for a more portable Meade 8" LX200. I am now semi retired and decided to try my hand at digital astrophotography, starting with a non-modified WebCam for planets. It was so much fun, I have moved up to an Orion Starshoot color camera and a Meade DSI Pro II b/w. I get a lot of help from the Yahoo eGroups dedicated to each of the cameras I own or from the Fort Worth Astronomical Society.

My current equipment is here.

Here is a WMV-format video of my 2007 efforts - ASTRO REVIEW 2007.
Here is my catalog, hope you enjoy looking.
